Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the entry and supplies any response. Grady County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact submission may be kept as needed to answer it. The message remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal duty.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, server and analytics systems may receive basic technical information about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure how pages are used, including common entry and exit points. Analytics providers combine this traffic information. Browser controls can block cookies, although some website functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, securing, and improving website performance
- Routing a submitted query to the selected search provider
- Measuring which reference pages visitors use
- Diagnosing errors and other technical problems
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Grady County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case records. It provides general directions to the Grady County clerks, courts, circuit calendars, and Georgia access directories that may hold or route official records. The website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing rules govern information entered there. Those practices are outside our control, so review the provider's terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Grady County offices, Georgia court resources, legal-aid organizations, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected data. No internet system can be guaranteed secure, however, and the website cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A verified report that a minor supplied such data will be handled with a deletion request.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Georgia and federal privacy or consumer-protection law may provide rights over personal data. Georgia's Open Records Act concerns records held by covered public agencies; it does not convert this private website's visitor data into a court record or replace the court-specific rules used to obtain Grady County case files. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Updates to This Policy
